I only schedule a small number of weddings, family, and portrait sessions each year to be fully present with every client.

Is there a deposit required?
Yes — a 50% non-refundable retainer and a signed contract secure your date. The remaining balance is due before your session or wedding day.
What kind of gear do you use?
I shoot with Canon mirrorless cameras and a mix of prime and zoom lenses to handle everything from soft natural light to low-light settings. I also bring backup gear to every shoot — cameras, lenses, batteries, and cards — so we’re always covered.
Do you travel?
Yes! I’m based in Kansas City but love traveling for sessions and weddings. Travel fees may apply depending on distance — just reach out with your location and I’ll get you details.
Do you help with posing?
Absolutely. I’ll guide you through natural prompts so you’re never wondering what to do with your hands. My goal is for the photos to feel relaxed, fun, and real — not stiff or forced.
Can I reschedule?
Yes- If the weather or unexpected circumstances come up, we can usually reschedule for the next available date I have open.

What should I wear?
Wear something that feels like you but still a little dressed up. Neutrals and earthy tones photograph beautifully, and coordinating colors (not matching exactly) work best for families and couples. If you’re unsure, I can help you plan outfits!
How far in advance should I book?
The sooner the better, especially for spring and fall sessions or weddings. Portrait sessions typically book 1–2 months out, and weddings book 6–12 months out.
Do you edit your photos?
Yes! Every image you get is hand-edited in my style — natural, warm, and true-to-life. I don’t do heavy editing or retouching; I just make sure your photos look like the best version of you.
